Streamline Pro™ MultiCal™ System

The Streamline Pro™ MultiCal™ System provides a comprehensive approach to quality assurance of data generated by ambient air monitors and samplers. It is a portable battery operated device with internal data storage and can display test/calibration data directly on the screen. The unit provides direct readings of NIST traceable flow, temperature and barometric (ambient) pressure data. Remote (external) temperature probes (RT probes) allow NIST traceable temperature measurements.

Streamline Pro™ is the first portable integrated system that allows temperature measurements from ruggedized RT probes to be used in flow calculations for increased efficiency and operator convenience.

The Streamline Pro™ is designed and calibrated for complete interchangeability of all components. Calibration constants and qualification data for each element are stored in the element's built-in memory. Calibration data is automatically uploaded to the Control Unit (CU) where it can be displayed and recorded for QA monitoring. Any measuring unit (MU) can be used with any CU, as can any remote temperature (RT) sensor. This increases user flexibility as another MU calibrated at a different flow range can be added to the kit if additional needs arise in the future.

When calibrating the Streamline Pro™ under laboratory conditions, the patented orifice element in the MU provides a calibration relationship based on a specific geometry under laboratory conditions. Made of durable, patented materials, its geometry, performance and calibration do not change with changes in temperature, humidity or air pressure. Other flow measurement devices may expand, contract, or distort when used under conditions other than those for which they are calibrated to provide unreliable flow measurements away from the laboratory. This situation is worse when the flow measurement device is based on polymers, metals or combination materials with high and/or variable thermal expansion characteristics.

The Streamline Pro™ is a durable and accurate orifice flow transfer model with no moving parts or pistons that introduce shock waves or pulses into the gas flow. It can work in any position because it doesn't use bubbles or other components that depend on gravity or position. There is no vacuum tubing to twist or tangle between MU and CU.

Streamline Pro™ is highly portable and intuitive to use. The entire kit fits into the 14" x 11" x 4" padded carrying case and weighs only 4 lbs. The menu is easy to navigate and the functions are designed for quick and easy access even when wearing gloves!

  • set the system clock

1-1/4" Flow Adapter Kit
Streamline™ FTS products are designed to fit directly onto 1-1/4" OD sampler inlet tubing. Chinook recognizes that some flow measurements require different connections, so a 1-1/4" FTS adapter kit is available as an optional accessory . The kit includes a Delrin adapter for the 1-1/4" outlet side of the FTS, a clamp and 3 feet of tubing. The Delrin adapter has a ¼" outlet fitting with pins. The tube is connected between the adapter and a user-supplied fitting suitable for the sampler inlet.

AC-DC power converter
The Universal AC/DC Power Converter is a wall or benchtop transformer with a nominal 90-246 AC input and 5 volt DC output.
